Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide operational support and technical assistance to TDOT subrecipients recovering from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic as they provide public transportation in the rural areas of Tennessee.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover eligible operating expenses for rural and non-urbanized public transportation. Funds will also be used to provide technical assistance to TDOT and subrecipients.
Expected Outcomes: Continued safe and effective operation of transit services for rural areas of Tennessee.
Intended Beneficiaries: State transit agencies and citizens in the rural and non-urbanized areas of the state.
