Grant Description
Award Purpose: This project will fund the construction and operation of the Easton Research and Recovery Facility.
Activities to be Performed: The activities to be funded through this action include project planning, engineering, permitting, facility construction, and facility operation and maintenance.
Expected Deliverables or Outcomes: This facility will help restore bull trout by providing an environment to recover and rear rescued fish.
Intended Beneficiaries: The project aims to increase the number of bull trout spawners and prevent population extirpations and loss of local, genetic distinct populations.
This project's facilities will support an existing Yakama Nation project, the Bull Trout Restoration and Monitoring Project.
Subrecipient Activities (if known or specified at time of award): Engineering, construction of building and wells, YN staff.
