Application purpose: The application is for permanent repairs for the Alternativa de Transporte Integrado - Tren Urbano (ATI-TU Heavy Rail) due to damages caused by Hurricane Maria.
Activities performed: This application includes the rehabilitation of the retention pond at the operations and administration building of the Tren Urbano system.

Funding Goals
THE EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM PROVIDES FUNDING TO PUBLIC TRANSIT OPERATORS IN THE AFTERMATH OF AN EMERGENCY OR MAJOR DISASTER. THE PROGRAM FUNDS CAPITAL PROJECTS TO PROTECT REPAIR OR REPLACE FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT THAT ARE IN DANGER OF SUFFERING SERIOUS DAMAGE OR HAVE SUFFERED SERIOUS DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF AN EMERGENCY AS WELL AS OPERATING COSTS OF EVACUATION RESCUE OPERATIONS TEMPORARY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE OR REESTABLISHING EXPANDING OR RELOCATING SERVICE BEFORE DURING OR AFTER AN EMERGENCY.
