Grant Description
Application Purpose: This funds will advance the construction of Keystone Corridor Station projects. The purpose of this award is to provide PennDOT capital funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19 while providing transportation services through the Lancaster Train Station during the period of 10/5/2020 to 12/30/2026.

Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover eligible capital expenses, including a pedestrian bridge, improved lighting, and a stair tower and elevator.

Expected Outcomes: These projects will bring stations into a state of good repair, including ADA accessibility, and mitigate transmission of the coronavirus.

Intended Beneficiaries: Amtrak and SEPTA riders, the local community, and other stations connected to the Keystone Corridor.
