Overview

Grant Description
The Houston Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with the Houston Parks Board is applying for federal funding to implement the master plan for MacGregor Park.

The completion of critical improvements funded through the ORLP grant will greatly enhance overall experience and functionality for MacGregor Park's users and operations through the replacement of existing tennis center, baseball field, and the addition of a bayou-side amphitheater, community plaza, event lawn, and multi-purpose field.
Funding Goals
THE NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY IS INTENDED TO ENGAGE PARTNERS IN PROJECTS TO ADVANCE THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SUBJECT PROGRAM. THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE (NPS) IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS NOFO THAT MEET THE PURPOSE AND FOCUS OF THE SUBJECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS WILL INCLUDE ACTIVITIES THAT DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM.
