Grant Description
Palm Beach County intends to create a dog park with the following: paved ADA compliant walking paths, landscaping, five gazebos, 10 benches, five drinking fountains for people and dogs, and trash receptacles. The county will also install restrooms, picnic facilities with tables and grills, a parking area, an exercise trail walking path with exercise fitness stations around a created pond, and new lighting at the new Villages of Windsor Park.
By developing the park, the county hopes to provide a gathering spot for a residential community populated primarily by those aged 55 and older. It will also increase the number of ADA-compliant recreational facilities available to those in the Villages of Windsor community.
