Overview
Grant Description
Originally used as a high school and elementary school, Centennial Hall is the oldest building on the Edward Waters University campus. Designed by the firm of Howells and Stokes, the three-story classical building was erected in 1916 to commemorate the centennial of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The second phase will address repairs to the exterior masonry through repointing, vegetation removal, and repairs to the brick and cast stone.
