Grant Description
The Scientists in Parks Program provides opportunities for participants to meet natural resource management needs in national park units, advance their academic and professional goals, increase diversity and inclusion within natural resource fields of the NPS, and foster life-long connections to national park resources.
Participants in the program have the chance to complete internship projects in national park units that address natural resource issues of the National Park System. The objectives and outcomes for each project are defined by the benefiting NPS unit that hosts the intern.
