Grant Description
This application is to request FY2019 Section 5339A lapsed funds apportioned to the state of Oklahoma in the amount of $3,500,000. Total local match amount of $657,181; and a total net cost amount of $4,157,181. This grant is applying the approved federal proceeds from asset dispositions in the amount of $74,013.

Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide funding for the purchase of miscellaneous equipment and purchase of 26 vehicles. Useful life of 10 years and 350,000 miles for the 35-ft bus for expansion. Useful life of 5 years and 150,000 miles for the 30-ft bus for expansion.

Activities to be performed: 19 vehicles will be replaced. 7 vehicles will be for expansion equipment such as cameras for vehicles and tablets will be purchased to assist transit agencies with scheduling purposes.

Expected outcomes: All participating transit projects will improve the state of good repair for transit assets.

Intended beneficiaries: Populace of the rural transit service and local area commuters.
