Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to fund the purchase and replace of that are beyond their useful life which will be used to support SORTAs fixed-route transit network.
Activities Performed: Funds with be used to cover the procurement of sixteen (16) hybrid-electric buses and fifteen (15) 40-ft. clean diesel buses to replace 31 40ft diesel buses.
Expected Outcomes: The expected outcomes of this award include the provision of more modern cleaner burning and reliable transit vehicles which will provide improved customer service to Metro riders in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Intended Beneficiaries: Transit riders residents businesses and workers in SORTAs service area will be beneficiaries of this award including all of Hamilton County and parts of Warren Butler and Clermont counties.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
