Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to support preventive maintenance needs for the TARTA system, support vehicle replacement, signage software, hardware operating assistance for micro-transit purpose, bus wash, and facility rehab/reno, and safety. The grant will cover costs over the period of 5/1/2022 - Dec 31, 2026.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover all eligible capital maintenance expenses, support vehicle replacement, signage hardware and software, operating assistance for micro-transit purpose, bus wash, safety equipment, and facility rehab/reno.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit TARTA to maintain a state of good repair and modernize technology.
Intended Beneficiaries: TARTA and the riders that rely on its service will benefit from continued services with a higher quality experience.
