Overview

Grant Description
Application Purpose: To support the day-to-day operations of transit systems that provide transit service to the rural communities in the state of Ohio.

Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover eligible operating expenses such as driver salaries, fuel, items having a useful life of less than one year, and preventive maintenance in order to continue transit operations.

Expected Outcomes: Continued safe and effective operation of transit services for rural areas of Ohio.

Intended Beneficiaries: Forty-two public transit systems that provide rural transit service, as well as the citizens of Ohio who will be able to utilize said service.

Subrecipient Activities: All the work under this grant will be performed by the various sub-recipients who will be outlined in the Program of Projects.
