Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of the award is to provide funding for operating expenses to continue providing public transit services to the residents of Lorain County, including senior citizens and persons with a disability.
Activities Performed: This includes operating expenses for payroll and operations of public transit to ensure those who need transportation can get to work, medical appointments, educational opportunities, and other critical daily life essential functions.
Expected Outcomes: The expected outcome is the continued safe and effective operation of transit services for Lorain County.
Intended Beneficiaries: Lorain County Transit and the riders that rely on its service will benefit from continued services, permitting workers to work and riders to get to essential services.
Subrecipient Activities: This funding will not be utilized for subrecipient activities.
