Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to support RGRTA's mission to partner with the communities it serves to provide safe and sustainable mobility offering better access frequency and reliability.
Activities Performed:
1) Purchase (3) 40-foot hydrogen fuel cell buses to replace vehicles that have met their useful life; and
2) Purchase and install hydrogen fueling infrastructure to refuel the buses.
Expected Outcomes: To keep vehicles in a state of good repair while assisting in the transition to a zero emission fleet.
Intended Beneficiaries: The projects included as part of this grant will benefit the authority and its public transit riders.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
