Overview
Grant Description
This grant will obligate $12,000,000 in Section 5337 in General Funds (GF) for New York City Transit's Emergency Exit Project at 168th Street. The approval letter for the use of Transportation Development Credits for match (in the amount of $2,400,000) is attached.
The Section 5337 funds will be from FY 2019 allocations from the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) UZA1. The regional sub-allocation Resolution #489 is attached in TRAMS. A table is also attached in TRAMS under Application Documents to show the amounts used by fiscal year and funding program (see file: MTA Funding Allocation Usage and Availability Grant 1786-2021-24).
The MTA requests that the FTA obligate the required funds for this application from the available fund balances.
