Grant Description
Pennsylvania Department of Health - Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases (ELC) - The purpose of this project is to enhance the capacity of the Pennsylvania Department of Health to effectively detect, respond, prevent and control known and emerging infectious disease threats.

This will be accomplished by strengthening epidemiologic capacity; enhancing laboratory capacity; improving public health informatics; and enhancing collaboration among epidemiology, laboratory, and health information systems.
