Overview

Grant Description
The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment Project proposes to install fiber directly connecting 354 unserved Native American households plus businesses with qualifying broadband service at speeds of 120/20 Mbps.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among tribal members:

- Complete topographical surveying and data processing.
- Deploy an LTE Evolved Packet Core in a customer-designated data center.
- Construct a private LTE network providing fixed wireless internet connections to Native American households and businesses.
- Furnish and install new radios and antennas using new or existing towers or aerial structures.
- Configure and test all equipment.
- Construct 2 new monopoles.

This project will connect 354 unserved Native American households, as well as businesses, with reliable, scalable, and commercially supported internet access. It will also offer job training and create 2 general technician jobs to service the newly installed infrastructure.
