Grant Description
COVID-19 Response Through Community Collaboration
The County of San Bernardino, Department of Public Health (Department), has a long history of working with underserved populations and seeks to address the COVID-19 pandemic through community collaboration. Funds will be used to address COVID-19 and advance health equity in racial and ethnic minority groups and rural communities throughout the county.
San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States, spanning over 20,000 square miles. The Department aims to reduce COVID-19 related health disparities, increase testing and contact tracing in underserved populations, and enhance the department's capacity to prevent and control COVID-19.
If awarded, the Department looks forward to working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the many local and regional community partners.
