Grant Description
Integrated Mobility Division is applying for Section 5303 Metropolitan Planning Formula from FFY20 in the amount of $1,278,271 and FFY21 in the amount of $2,093,097 on behalf of its subrecipients for a total of $3,371,368. In addition, Integrated Mobility Division is applying for Section 5304 Statewide Planning Formula for FFY2020 in the amount of $370,000.
Purpose:
The purpose of this award is to provide two years of funding for planning initiatives for Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) across the state of North Carolina.
Activities to be performed:
Funds will be used to cover transit planning activities, including TIP/STIP/UPWP development, transit studies, and long-range plan updates.
Expected outcomes:
Funding will ensure that ABC Transit Agency meets applicable planning requirements and that future projects are appropriately programmed into local MPO documents.
Intended beneficiaries:
MPOs and transit agencies across the state of North Carolina.
Subrecipient activities:
All MPOs in the state of North Carolina.
