Grant Description
Purpose: Our primary goals with IRA Topic 1 funding are as follows:
1. Build capacity to meet stakeholder needs and participate in pan-regional and national endeavors, such as addressed in the goals outlined in the IRA Topic 2 proposal submitted by MARACOOS.
2. Recapitalize and modernize SECOORA assets to ensure dependable operations that provide critical coastal resilience benefits to the communities they support.
3. Establish and deepen partnerships with users and communities, especially those historically marginalized and underserved.
4. Leverage investments in the national IRA Topic 2 proposals to further ecosystem and physical oceanographic data products and services.
