Grant Description
Purpose: The Nature Conservancy will complete initial planning and design steps to restore estuary and salt marsh habitat along Bride Brook in Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Connecticut.

This work will improve the tidal connection between Bride Brook and Long Island Sound, and support the migration of river herring and American eel.

Engagement with and input from the local community will be used to help determine the greatest needs for improving public access, facilities, and recreational opportunities in the park.
