Grant Description
The town of Plymouth is being awarded more than $10 million to construct a fishway around the historic Jenney Pond Dam, the last remaining passage barrier on Town Brook, to open access to habitat for river herring and American eel.

They will also dredge and restore the pond behind the dam.

The fishway is expected to address flooding concerns at Jenney Pond associated with 100-year storms.

NOAA previously partnered with the town of Plymouth to remove 5 other fish passage barriers on Town Brook.
