Application purpose: The purpose of this grant is to purchase hybrid electric buses to support the implementation of the new bus network.
Activities performed: The main activity of this grant is to purchase ten (10) hybrid electric transit buses.
Expected outcomes: This funding will transition the current fleet to a low emission fleet, reduce maintenance costs, improve service reliability, improve access, and enhance mobility.
Intended beneficiaries: This funding will benefit all users of the public transportation system (riders and employees) and the community environment.
