Overview
Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide capital revenue for rolling stock assistance to 5311 rural providers at 80% federal and 20% local match. We also have included fund for OATS to upgrade their computer servers that are outdated and have met their useful life.
Activities Performed: The activities will include the purchase of 52 vehicles total to replace vehicles that have met their useful life. The replacement includes (38) twenty-one 30 buses and (14) twelve vans and to replace outdated computer equipment.
Expected Outcomes: The outcomes will be newer and safer buses for passengers throughout the state of Missouri and a new computer system that is up to date.
Intended Beneficiaries: The beneficiaries would be for transit riders throughout the state of Missouri. These funds will help increase the safety of riders and promote public transportation in the state of Missouri.
