Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide funding for the construction of a new ferry and engineering work for dock renovations for Beaver Island Transportation Authority in the state of Michigan.

Activities Performed: Funds will be used to build a new ferry for the Charlevoix to Beaver Island route and perform engineering work for dock renovations.

Expected Outcomes: Funding will enable Beaver Island Transportation Authority to provide safe and reliable transportation to Beaver Island from the mainland.

Intended Beneficiaries: Beaver Island Transportation Authority and the riders that rely on its ferry service will benefit from the continued safe and reliable transportation to Beaver Island from the mainland.
