Grant Description
Application Purpose: To support the purchase of two new Flyer 40 Xcelsior (XHE40) fuel cell buses and upgraded equipment for MTA Flint's existing hydrogen refueling station.
Activities Performed: Activities to be performed include the purchase of buses, data access tools, pre/post Buy America audits, inspections, workforce training, project management, technical assistance, and the hydrogen station.
Expected Outcomes: To reduce harmful emissions while building on the agency's innovative alternative fuel technology and training program. It will also provide effective, efficient, and safe services for MTA staff and passengers.
Intended Beneficiaries: The intended beneficiaries are the entire transit services staff and passengers.
