Grant Description
Application purpose: To provide funds for preliminary design and project development activities to advance the Southern Maryland Rapid Transit Project.

Activities performed: To fund preliminary engineering and design and project development activities for the Southern Maryland Rapid Transit Project.

Expected outcomes: The evaluation of new transit service connecting Waldorf Maryland to the Metro station at Branch Avenue.

Intended beneficiaries: Residents and visitors that would be served by enhanced transit service between the Branch Avenue Metro station and Waldorf Maryland.

Subrecipient activities: None.
