Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) FY 23 All Stations Accessibility funding for the engineering and design to make the Martin Airport MARC station on the MARC Penn Line fully accessible.
Activities performed: MTA will use the All Stations Accessibility funding for the engineering and design activities for improvements to grade separate the pedestrian movements and make other safety improvements in and around the station.
Expected outcomes: Funding will support upgrading the Martin Airport MARC station to be the latest accessibility standards to directly meet the needs of passengers with disabilities.
Intended beneficiaries: Baltimore County residents and riders of the MARC Penn Line.
Subrecipient activities: N/A

SUBWAY COMMUTER RAIL LIGHT RAIL) FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF EXISTING STATIONS OR FACILITIES THAT ARE FULLY ACCESSIBLE.
