Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide the Maryland Transit Administration Rail Vehicle Replacement Program funding to replace 52 light rail vehicles.
Activities performed: MTA will use the Rail Vehicle Replacement funding to replace 52 light rail vehicles.
Expected outcomes: Replacement of 52 new light rail vehicles will keep rolling stock vehicles in a state of good repair and continue to provide operations.
Intended beneficiaries: Citizens and visitors of Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County that use the light rail system today.
Subrecipient activities: N/A
