Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and its subrecipient Prince Georges County FY 2021 Section 5339(c) funding to purchase electric replacement buses and charging stations through the Low or No Emission Grants (LOW-NO) program.
Activities performed: Funds will be used to purchase six (6) 35 electric replacement buses and (4) charging stations to support the transition of the nations transit.
Expected outcomes: Funding will support the transition of Prince Georges County to the lowest polluting and most energy efficient transit vehicles.
Intended beneficiaries: Prince Georges County.
