Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of the award is to provide capital assistance to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) on behalf of Harford County for the purchase of buses and bus related projects.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used for garage renovation, rehabilitation of building for storage and fueling of compressed natural gas, related training, specialty tools, project management, and replacement buses.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will support the transition to compressed natural gas buses, equipment, and infrastructure.
Intended Beneficiaries: Harford County and the residents that rely on its transit services to get to work and other destinations.
