Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to support implementation of the Maryland National Capital Purple Line Project.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover eligible capital expenses that are part of the existing project scope as outlined in the CIG Construction Grant.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit MTA to continue to implement design and construction of the Purple Line Project.
Intended Beneficiaries: Future riders in the Purple Line corridor that connects several major employment and commercial centers between suburban Maryland and Washington DC. The project is expected to provide significant travel time savings.
Subrecipient Activities: N/A
