Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to support Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) operating assistance for the period of January 20, 2020, through December 31, 2022.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover all eligible operating expenses, such as driver salaries and fuel, as well as items having a useful life of less than one year.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit MTA to continue to provide operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Intended Beneficiaries: MTA and the riders that rely on its service will benefit from continued services, permitting workers to get to work and other destinations.
