Grant Description
Application Purpose:
The purpose of this application is to provide 5310 Formula Funding to support the procurement of vehicles and administration in rural, small urban, and large UZAs as applicable.
Activities Performed:
The activities to be performed include eligible procurement of vehicles to provide transit services based on UZA distribution, as well as some administration for the State DOTD to manage the program.
Expected Outcomes:
The expected outcomes include maintaining safe and effective specialized transit services throughout Louisiana and vehicle procurement.
Intended Beneficiaries:
The intended beneficiaries are 5310 specialized passengers throughout Louisiana.
Subrecipient Activities:
Capital funds will be passed through to four large urban subrecipients and small urban rural subrecipients. These activities are contracted with providers to provide capital for transit services and provide administrative support.
