Grant Description
Application Purpose:
The purpose of this award is to provide funding for the purchase of three (3) diesel electric vehicles to replace current vehicles ($2,240,000 Fed) and the construction of new administrative and maintenance buildings at the Eastbank Facilities site ($4,640,000 Fed) at 118 David Dr. Metairie, LA 70003.
Activities Performed:
Activities to be performed include the replacement of three (3) buses and the construction of new facilities at 118 David Dr. Metairie, LA 70003.
Expected Outcomes:
Funding will ensure Jefferson Parish Transit improves the state of good repair for transit assets.
Intended Beneficiaries:
The populace of the JP Transit service area and local area commuters will benefit from this funding.
