This application contains funding from FY2021 5307 in the federal amount of $4,124,000; FY2021 5337 HOV in the federal amount of $179,846; and FY2021 5339 in the federal amount of $453,906. Please see the attached split letter.

The millage will be used for local match funds for this grant award ($2,695,022). By executing this grant, we certify that projects funded in this grant are included in the Jefferson TAM Plan Investment Prioritization section. The 1% security requirement is addressed in the split letter.

Purpose of this award and activities to be performed:

This grant will contain the following:

- In Project 1 (5307) - Bus purchase; operating assistance; preventive maintenance; project management (funds will be used to provide capital management support for all capital projects in this grant); security cameras and equipment; ADP hardware and software; flooring painting and lighting improvements at Walkertown and Wilty terminals. Vehicle to be replaced: VIN: 15GGD2711A1177948 (Bus 415).

- In Project 2 (5337): Bus purchase; ongoing preventive maintenance for JETS high-intensity motorbus vehicles as required. Vehicle to be replaced: VIN 15GGD2718A1177946.

- In Project 3 (5339): Bus purchase and a bus seat replacement project. Vehicle to be replaced: VIN 15GGD271XA1177950.

Expected outcomes and intended beneficiaries:

This funding will ensure that all vehicles in the Jefferson Transit (JET) fleet run efficiently and are safe for JET passengers and operators. Vehicle procurement will ensure the fleet is in a state of good repair. JET operators and passengers will benefit from this award.
