Grant Description
Carson City will renovate an existing trailhead located at Riverview Park in Carson City, Nevada and design and construct a new approximately one acre trailhead that will include shade structures, picnic tables, benches, restrooms, pedestrian and dog watering stations, parking, preservation of historic ranch structures, kiosk, and interpretive signage.

Improved safety and enhanced access to trails and the Korean War Veterans Memorial will be a focus of the upgraded facilities. The upgraded facilities will improve the site for hosting events like ranger and naturalist educational programs for nearby schools and veterans events and enhance recreational opportunities.
