Overview

Grant Description
Control invasive and noxious weeds and pests in cooperation with BLM Newcastle Field Office within Crook County, Wyoming. Integrated Pest Management principles will be used to treat noxious weeds and pests and invasive species to improve forest, rangeland, watersheds, and wildlife habitats.

Treatments are expected to meet goals to restore landscape connectivity and function and to conserve and restore lands to increase resiliency towards climate change. Project results will benefit residents and visitors for Crook County, Wyoming as well as contribute towards BLM invasive species management priorities.

Treatment of vascular noxious weeds will be conducted annually over the five-year project term on BLM lands within Crook County.
