Overview
Grant Description
Initial assessment and base mapping of Wade and Nome Creek areas would be completed. Assessments would use AIM methods to evaluate current conditions and the root causes of impaired stream and floodplain functions. The availability of restoration resources on site or in close proximity to the project areas would also be completed.
The collected assessment and survey data would be used to develop restoration designs for sections of Wade and Nome Creeks. Implementation of the designs would be contingent upon the level of funding available.
