Grant Description
The National Park Service has the National Park Foundation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The U.S. Forest Service has the National Forest Foundation. And now, after years of advocacy, legislation was enacted to create the Bureau of Land Management Foundation, which will be known as the Foundation for America's Public Lands.
The Foundation for America's Public Lands is the official charitable partner of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and desires to work hand in hand with BLM to support its mutual goals. As mandated by Congress, the Foundation's purposes are outdoor recreation, quiet places, unlocking our lands, taking care of our lands, responsible for our lands, WHB, grow capacity, and celebrate American's land managers.
