Application purpose: This FFY2024 application is to request Section 5339C low or no emissions funding awarded to Lextran in the amount of $4,223,340.
The non-federal share is $747,060 will be provided by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The project total will be $4,970,400.
This application utilizes funding for 6 40 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.
This application will consist of one project.
The funding opportunity ID for this Low-No program is FTA-2024-003-TPM-LWNO.
Activities performed: Purchase of rolling stock.
Expected outcomes: Replace 6 diesel buses with lower emission CNG buses.
Intended beneficiaries: Transit riders in Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky.
Subrecipient activities: Lextran will not be using subrecipients for this funding.
