The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC)/Office of Transportation Delivery (OTD) State/Local Share: 20% ($875,000) (with locals allowed to overmatch)
This is not a research development grant.
No indirect costs.
KYTC/OTD will require subrecipients to have independent cost estimates and a price/cost analysis on file for these projects. This is to ensure that contractors procured will not be on the FTA debarment and suspension list and to follow all 3rd party procurement policies as defined in C 4220.1F.
KYTC/OTD will hold liens on the vehicles. Subrecipients are required to have insurance, oversee maintenance, and generate reports on the vehicles.
KYTC/OTD will ensure that all vehicles are purchased from FTA approved TVM and reported to FTA within 30 days after the contract is signed. KYTC/OTD will check the current listing of transit vehicle manufacturers (TVM) (https://www.transit.dot.gov/regulations-and-guidance/civil-rights-ada/eligible-tvms-list) to ensure each is listed as a certified TVM in compliance with FTA regulations.
Start date is the date of award. End date is 03/30/2024.
