Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide for the purchase of four replacement buses and eight expansion buses and the associated capital for Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover the cost of the purchase of 12 buses along with charging infrastructure and equipment.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation to keep rolling stock vehicles in a state of good repair and expand service while reducing air and noise pollution.
Intended Beneficiaries: Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation and the riders that rely on its service will benefit from continued and expanded services as well as permitting workers to get to work and other destinations.
