Grant Description
Application Purpose: To replace ten 2004 35 ft Gillig fixed route diesel vehicles with ten new 35 ft CNG New Flyer fixed route vehicles. In addition, to provide training to all employees on how to become more efficient and safer in their jobs.
Activities Performed: Transpo will purchase 10 replacement CNG fixed route vehicles and provide training to employees in becoming more efficient and safer while doing their jobs.
Expected Outcomes: This grant will provide the following benefits:
1. Reduce our greenhouse gases.
2. Train maintenance staff on maintaining vehicles.
3. Provide additional training to drivers on safety and customer service.
Intended Beneficiaries: Driver operators and passengers will benefit from the programs outlined in this grant.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
