Application purpose: Capital project for the procurement of low emission hybrid electric buses to replace diesel buses that have exceeded their useful life.
Activities performed: Purchase of hybrid buses with new technology equipment.
Expected outcomes: Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Intended beneficiaries: These hybrid buses can be programmed to run in clean mode, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The new vehicles will provide reliable transportation throughout our service area to access medical services, childcare, education, employment, groceries, etc.
