Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide operating assistance for the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District (GPMTD) to assist in fixed route transit operations during the period of July 1, 2023, to September 30, 2029.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover all eligible operating expenses, such as driver salaries, fuel, and items having a useful life of less than one year.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit GPMTD to continue to maintain and operate vehicles, as well as to provide safe service to the GPMTD riders.
Intended Beneficiaries: The GPMTD employees, riders, and community will benefit from the providing safe working vehicles and to provide service to all fixed route and ADA complimentary riders in the service area.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
