Overview

Grant Description
The Meeteetse Museums will increase access to its collections by scanning and digitizing its collection of over 100 bound materials, including a scrapbook of photographer Charles Belden. By digitizing objects with a new oversize book scanner, the institution will reduce the handling of objects and prevent strain on bindings.

The institution will also make the large format scanner available for use by other rural museums in Northwestern Wyoming. Project staff will work with digital collections interns to upload the records to a publicly accessible online database.
