Grant Description
Application Purpose: The replacement of vehicles which is beyond their useful life will allow the City and County of Honolulu to maintain safe and reliable transit services.
Activities Performed: Bus procurement including issuing a request for bid contract negotiation and execution inspection and acceptance of vehicles and completion of all pertinent federal requirements.
Expected Outcomes: Improve efficiency in transit services for bus and handi-van riders.
Intended Beneficiaries: Commuters which are residents and visitors who use the public transit system will benefit from safe and reliable transit services and accessible safe complimentary paratransit services.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
