Project Grant
Overview
Grant Description
Colorado GLS Youth Suicide Prevention - Utilizing GLS funds from SAMHSA, this project allows the Colorado Office of Suicide Prevention to elevate foundational strategies established through previous SAMHSA grants.
These strategies include developing the workforce to effectively identify youth who are at risk for suicide, reduce access to lethal means among youth, and provide equitable service to diverse populations. Additionally, these strategies involve expanding the Colorado Follow Up Project, increasing community response for suicide loss survivors, elevating the voices of people with lived experience, and working collaboratively across agencies, community members, and tribal organizations to comprehensively address suicide in the state.
