THE URBAN AGRICULTURE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS NON-COMPETITIVE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS WERE PROVIDED TO ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS IN THE URBAN COUNTY COMMITTEE (UCOC) PILOT LOCATIONS TO CONDUCT OUTREACH, EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO IMPROVE THE COORDINATION AND EFFECTIVENESS OF FEDERAL PROGRAMS, SERVICES, AND ACTIONS TO ASSIST URBAN PRODUCERS IN THEIR STATES. THE AUTHORIZING STATUTE FOR THESE AGREEMENTS IS THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT OF 2021, PUBLIC LAW 117-2, SECTION 1001.
